Team Marine is participating again in the Solar Cup sponsored by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. Our first workshop took place on November 21st in Claremont where we built the hull of our boat. Pictured above is the Samohi Solar Cup Team holding up their newly completed boat.
The Solar Cup is a wonderful way for students to get hands on experience working with alternative energy. Students learn all about physics, engineering, team work and determination. To learn more about Solar Cup please visit.
